Objective

A project is a one time set of activities that ends with a specific accomplishment. It originates when something out of the ordinary has to be accomplished. A project has three main characteristics:

When you use project management software the most tedious job, calculation of the schedule, is performed by the computer. In our course we use Microsoft Project. It is up to you to define the project goals, plan the tasks and resources and implement and manage the project.

Our course covers the basics of the subject working with a simple project. This is followed by a more complex exercise involving allocation of resources, resource conflicts, multiple projects, shared resources, and master projects.
